Aims / 课程目标 The major objective of the programme is to incorporate management techniques into the technical aspects of environmental protection and effective maintenance of a healthy environment using an interdisciplinary approach. The programme will focus on sustainable management, environmental health and risk management. In addition to the conventional issues of environmental protection, the relationships among economics, regulation and policy, management techniques, health risk analysis, social and ethical value and environmental conservation will be explored in detail. Admission Requirements / 入学要求 Applicants should possess: A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or comparable institution in any discipline; or A higher diploma with at least 5 years’ relevant working experience after graduation; or A qualification deemed to be equivalent. Language Proficiency Requirement / 英语要求 If the medium of instruction for the undergraduate study of the applicant was not English, then the applicant is expected to demonstrate his/her English proficiency by fulfilling either one of the following: a TOEFL score of at least 79 (Internet-based test)*; or an IELTS score of at least 6.5 (academic)*; or a new College English Test (CET-6) of China score of at least 450*. *Note: Test result provided should be within two years from the date of issuance of the Admission Offer letter. TOEFL iBT Home Edition or IELTS Indicator test is not accepted. Others Applicants with an IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL score of at 74 (Internet-based test) may also apply, and will be required to satisfactorily complete an English enhancement course offered by the University if admitted.
